Affiliate Disclosure

How affiliate links on InputMapper.pro work, where they appear, and what they never touch.

How This Site Is Funded

InputMapper.pro is a free, independent documentation and archive project. It is not affiliated with DSDCS, the developers of InputMapper. To cover hosting and maintenance, some outbound links on this site are affiliate links: if you buy something after clicking one, the merchant may pay us a small commission at no additional cost to you.

How to Recognize an Affiliate Link

Affiliate links on this site are routed through our own /go/ redirect paths and are marked rel="sponsored nofollow" in the page code. They appear mainly next to controller hardware and accessories — replacement controllers, Bluetooth adapters, cables, charging docks — and on game-store links inside platform guides. Pages that contain affiliate links say so near the links themselves.

What Is Never an Affiliate Link

  • The InputMapper download itself. The installer is freeware, and the primary download button leads to the public FileHorse archive listing.
  • The ViGEmBus and HidHide driver downloads, which link directly to the official GitHub release files.
  • Links presented as mirrors. Our clearly labeled Terabox mirror is a plain mirror, not a monetized link.
  • Competitor tools we recommend honestly. In particular, we have no affiliate relationship with reWASD; when we link to it, we earn nothing.

Our Editorial Rule

Affiliate relationships never decide what we recommend. This site regularly tells readers when InputMapper is the wrong tool — for example, DualSense owners are sent to DS4Windows or Steam Input, because InputMapper’s final build predates the DualSense and cannot support it. If a recommendation ever changes because of a commercial relationship, that change will be disclosed here.
